I remember it clearly — back in Taiwan, 2008. I bought my very first BB gun. I was so excited, I couldn’t even describe it. Right away I knew: I needed a way to carry it. So I didn’t wait for someone else to make one. I just sat down and built it myself.

 

No training, no blueprint, no experience — just that rush of enthusiasm, and the simple thought: I need it, so I’ll make it. That’s how this modular utility holster came to life — one of the earliest pieces under the name GIMICS.

 

Built From Need

 

- Tough canvas and heavy webbing — whatever I could find that would hold up

- Custom shape and fit — measured and cut by hand to fit exactly what I had

​

- Adjustable straps and secure retention — figured it out as I went, until it worked

​

- Reinforced everywhere it matters — stitched twice, pulled tight, made to stay

​

- GIMICS patch — marked with pride, simple and true

 

It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t fancy. But it was mine. And it worked.

Looking back, it wasn’t just a holster. It was the start of something. That feeling — seeing something you want, then figuring out how to make it real — hasn’t changed. From that first BB gun holster to every piece I make now as GIMAX, the heart is still the same:
