Started in 2006, in a small 4-square-meter room in Taichung, Taiwan. With an old Singer sewing machine and simple materials, I began making — first chopstick cases, then straps, then custom bags and gear. Back then, we were known as GIMICS. It was a humble beginning, built one stitch at a time.

 

Around 2008, we expanded into bicycle gear — utility bags, mounts, and packs built with the same focus on toughness and practical design. For years, we kept refining, keeping things simple, strong, and useful.

 

As we reached further international markets, we chose to evolve our name — not to walk away from our roots, but to give our craft an identity that travels clearly and confidently.

 

So we have become GIMAX.

The GIM remains — honoring every stitch, every piece, and every lesson learned since that small room.

The AX stands for something stronger: solidity, precision, and maximum endurance.

Nothing else has changed.

The hands are the same. The patience is the same. The promise is the same: handcrafted, durable, and built to stay.
