One Watch, One Strap

These weren’t made for a shelf — they were made for specific watches, and specific people. Customers brought their watches over, and I built straps exactly for them: measured, fitted, and shaped one at a time. No mass-made sizes, no compromises — just what the watch needed, and what the owner wanted.

From the very beginning at GIMICS, this was the way: see what’s needed, build it right, by hand.

Tough Materials, Thoughtful Details

- Heavy-duty woven fabric — thick, stiff, and made to hold its shape

- Custom cut and fit — sized exactly to each watch case and wrist

- Stainless steel plates — stamped, fastened solid, permanent

- Woven labels & serial numbers — each one marked, each one unique

- Reinforced stitching & secure fastening — stays put, won’t loosen, won’t fail

- Patterns changed to suit — different weaves, camo, solid colours, all built the same honest way

Some got ID plates, some got GIMICS tags, some got serial numbers like 61213 or 61264. Every one had its own identity.

I didn’t start as a designer. I just saw a need, pictured it in my head, and made it real. That’s never changed.

Whether it’s a simple strap or one with a metal plate, whether it’s numbered or plain — the idea stays the same: make it strong, make it fit, make it last.
